So, if Billy REALLY believes that you are a short Asian woman woking for low wages in a restaurant kitchen, then THAT is not a lie?? It is the truth?? You really are a short Asian woman??

No one told him that I was such, and I have already condemned this statement so please do not repeat it or you are just as guilty.

There is no reason he should have even stated it other then him being a Bigot, and lacking respect for Asian females. What a person does for a living does not create their worth. What emanates out of their heart as a person is what creates their worth before GOD. In righteous judgement Billy will feel what they feel after hearing what he stated. This is how a person will be punished in The Kingdom of GOD. If you killed a member of my family you will know how I felt at the time I was grieving for my loved one. That is righteous judgment.

Son of Man said: "A LIE is put forth with the "INTENT" to decieve or mislead. If you relay something you believe to be true to another, you are NOT telling a lie."

INTENT is irrelevant.

A lie is still a lie, even if we believe it is truth when we are saying it. Just because we believe something is the truth when we say it, doesn't make it truth. Especially if it is a lie.

Intent is a necessary element of a lie. If the person putting it forth does not know it is a lie they are innocent. As I stated, it becomes a lie (in the second degree) if a person does not correct the error if it was put forth in error. One is judged by what is in their heart. A person commits adultery in their heart if they look at another person with lust. Lust is the intent, therefore this person has the intent to commit adultery. If one commits adultery out of weakness in the flesh they are forgiven by GOD. Argue this point even with any "worldy" judge and they would agree that intent is a necessary element. Why do you hear so people that are giving testimony state "it is my belief the cigarettes do not cause cancer". In this case they are telling a lie because it has been proven that they do cause cancer. It is just their way to avoid prosecution.

Great! I truly believe that there is no GOD. In my heart I feel that is the truth. So, there is no GOD and I don't need forgiveness from a GOD that doesn't exist. I also believe that you are really a short Asian woman who works for low wages in a restaurant kitchen.

If I were to say that GOD had inspired me with a message of truth that everyone must believe, yet in time it was proven to be untrue, false, a lie, it would prove that the message was not from any GOD. It was false prophecy, punishable before GOD.

Do I need to show you Scripture on the punishment due false prophets?

And I feel your statment is racist and disparaging to asian females. You BIGOT ! ! ! I am someone that can put you in your place with a clenched fist. And I am not working in a secular job. i've been lurking for a while trying to find out info on the jws.

Ok, there are many reason why not to associate with the JW's. However, provide this man with an alternative. I ask, how many organized religious groups if you choose to call them that, teach everlasting life upon the planet earth in paradise? None that I am aware of and this is one main teaching of the faith that stands above the rest. They are also filled with people that show genuine love for one another. The avoid mens wars as Jesus Christ commanded and do not acknowledge "worldy" governments above GODS Kingdom. These are many beliefs that raise them above any others. Therefore The Almighty GOD has raised them above all other beliefs in praise because they have sayings of everlasting life like Jesus Christ taught. However their teachings are not altogether true and accurate as was mentioned prior.

This is the righteous alternative. The parents must first conform their life to that of a Christian and teach their children, by example, how they should pursue their life as required by GOD. This means the parents do not engage in that which GOD condemns and live a clean and spiritual life. One cannot be a hyprocrite when raising a child or their traching hold no weight. What other religions can provide good association for your child. If you find one that is trustworthy and set a good example, by all means associate yourselves with this group.

The teachings of the W.T.S. are "close" and it is TRUE we are in the last days and The Kingdom of GOD is taking over as we speak. I have been in anticipation of this to occur and hope that it occurs this year.

Every lie is an untruth, but not every untruth is a lie. Why not? A dictionary defines a lie as “an assertion of something known or believed by the speaker to be untrue with intent to deceive.” Yes, lying includes the intention to deceive someone. Hence, to speak an untruth unwittingly—such as giving someone incorrect facts or figures by mistake—is not the same as to tell a lie.

I agree with this line wholeheartedly as GOD is my witness, it is an accurate statement.

If you relayed to me something you felt was true Billy would GOD judge you as a liar? Your heart would reveal that you felt it to be true, therefore you are not even in need of forgiveness.

Can someone help me?

i've been lurking for a while trying to find out info on the jws.

1. What sort of things are involved in a "bible study" for a 10/11 year old

Basic bible understandings are taught for that age group.

2. What is the attraction for a 17 year old girl to start "studying" and going to meetings....am I missing something?

A Christian way of life is a good one to pursue. It prevents teens from engaging in practices that are harmful for people of that age. For instance many teens are involved in raves which makes drugs easy to obtain. Also many in that age group are very involved with sexual promiscuity. This is harmful for someone of that age if they are not prepared to be involved in a relationship. Many teen boys are very high in sexual activity, and will prey on females for their self gratification. Look at what other options she has for association. Are they wholesome and uplifting, or do they create many problems for the family? Be wise as a parent and encourage good clean association.

3. What are the first steps for telling your partner they are nuts for wanting anything to do with the JWs?

Look at the alternatives as pointed out to you already. Which is better in your own personal opinon? However not all teaching of the JW faith are true and accurate so take them with a grain of salt. Some of their teachings are confusing and make no sense to the average reader. However what I learned from my studies with them did point me in the right direction. One main teaching you should adapt is anything that has to do with giving up your life in sacrifice. Teachings such as not allowing blood transfusions in order to better your heath or even save your life should never be acknowledged. You can message me directly is you want any further information.

I think SoM believes he's one of the anointed and I've noticed he's posting pattern to be quite similar to JCannon but I don't think they are one and the same. I've seen him here before. (Mrsjones)

I am "to be" anointed in The Kingdom of GOD. Many people misunderstand that the anointing is for kings, and cannot happen unless you sit upon a throne like David.144,000 kings and priests? Why would GOD need so many? The 144,000 are "blood" descendants of Abraham, they are not "spiritual" Israelites like you have been taught.

You believe that we should NOT talk about Watchtower teachings and practices on Jehovahs-Witness.net, and you're calling me "sarcastic" and "rude" for pointing out this forum as the exact place to discuss such things? That's called "argumentum ad hominem". You're changing the subject to launch a personal attack on my character.

Many of you on here still follow their teachings in hopes that they might provide information about the end. Let me ask you this, would GOD have chosen a "worldy" organization to be His representative? They have acquired a great deal of wealth in real estate, and personal goods. Why do you donate money to them? It is better to feed your neighbor when they are lacking monies for simple sustainance.

Great thread Flipper. I agree with Billy and Hopscotch. I didn't think I'd finish school because it was so drummed into us about the generation and 1975. I still believe in Jehovah, just not in men!! I wish I could find the truth...

I have knowledgeof both and I feel it depends on the person. Some might grow a tolerance for either or and it does not affect those that take occasionally. In my lifetime I have drank and used drugs on various occasions but never out of addiction. Both are very harmful when driving and should not be taken when you plan to drive. An autmobile kills and maims and has always been my worse fear having children and of course loved one. You can lose your loved ones instantly and I have seen it happen more than once. My former wife lost her brother instantly in an automobile accident and I was with her when she got the news. Her body immediately crumbled and she bent down and wept bitterly. Her body felt as if was going through convulsions as she felt the pain from her loss. It tears people to pieces when a loved one is hurt and even dies.

If you choose to take anything that causes you to lose your mental faculties never put another person in danger. This is why GOD taught us not to partake in drunkeness or anything in similarity. It causes people to act foolish and abnormal.......

I have deeper meanings from The Almighty. They are revealed to whom He has chosen. What does it mean when it says the 144,000 recieve a "Seal" upon their foreheads?

They recieve the "Seal of The LIVING GOD" means that they will not taste death, which is contrary to the teachings of the W.T.S. who say they must die.......
